My names is James and I am a fully certified beach hut doctor. I first started the Beach hut doctors back in 2008 when I saw that there was big demand for renovation work on these timber structures. Over the last 13 years the company has grown and we now fully specialise in the design, bespoke building and renovations of these traditional timber buildings that we have become so accustom too on our seafront. I have been a carpenter now for 16 years, I have a passion for designing, building, and handcrafting anything out of timber. I have lived in Brighton and Hove my whole life apart from a couple of years working and travelling abroad mainly in Australia where I worked building timber houses, offices, stables, saddle sheds etc.

I pride myself in being friendly and approachable and enjoy having a great rapport with my clients, whilst providing a proffesional and stress free service.
